Since I started sharing my Femdom lifestyle, I have met other couples who have the same or similar lifestyles.
A couple months ago, I had the idea of interviewing some of them. Since than I interviewed 11 couples, about how Femdom plays a role in their life.

My first interview was with Melissa (34) and Ethan (36) they are from Iowa. I called them in July 2023.

Thank you for letting me interview you, could you tell me how you met each other?

Melissa: We met in 2014, we worked in the same building but for different companies. The owner of the building held a party every year, that's where we met. We started talking, and at the end of the evening Ethan asked me out for dinner.

Ethan: After two months of dating, I had to move out of state for my job. For 8 months, we had a long distance relationship. It wasn't always easy, put we pulled through. We really connected.

Was there any Femdom in your relationship back then?

Melissa: No, we had a "normal' relationship. Our sex life was good, but it was just vanilla sex. We were both busy with our jobs and social life, so every time we got the chance to see each other we couldn't wait to be close.

Ethan: Our time was limited back then, we were lucky to see each other for more than 48 hours at the time. There were times we didn't see each other for weeks.

Melissa: we did the whole sexting and sending each other pictures thing. But it just wasn't the same. In 2016 we decided to move in together, our life was still busy but at least we saw each other every night.

So how did you get into Femdom?

Melissa: We have been together for 9 years, but we only got into kink 3 years ago.
During the first lockdown in 2020, just like with everyone our life paused.
This was a weird time, we are both very social and career driven. And all of sudden, Ethan was out of a job. And I worked from home, because my job includes doing a lot of visits. I only had to work for a couple hours a day.

Ethan: Luckily we saved up a lot, so financially we were okay. We just didn't know what to do with ourselves. We got bored, and for the first time in years we experienced having time for ourselves.

Melissa: We realized that we weren't as close as we thought we were. 60 percent of our conversations were about work, and the rest about our friends.

Ethan: We both had good and funny stories about our friends or jobs, but we didn't have any of our own as a couple. This felt confrontational for us both. It got very quiet in the house sometimes.
We started talking about the our future, and how much time we put in our jobs.

Melissa: We tried finding things to do together. We actually went on the internet and looked up "hobbies for couples" (laughs).
We ended up playing games together, board games but also video games.
We also were having a lot of sex together. And one night we decided to look at porn together.
We would go on the pornhub main page, and randomly pick out a video.

Ethan: We also started ordering sex toys online, and experimenting. After a while, we came by Fetish and BDSM video's.

Melissa: It was clear to me, that Ethan liked the kinky video's. We would pick out video's we liked, and than show it to each other. His had a lot of Femdom porn.

Did you bring up that he seemed to like the Femdom porn?

Melissa: No, I didn't know how. Honestly I also found it exciting, but I couldn't picture myself being a Mistress. I'm 5'2 and Ethan is 6"3 (laughs)

Ethan: Looking back on it, I should have just told her. But I found it difficult to say it.

Why did you find it difficult?

Ethan: I thought women liked men to be more dominant, and still think most women do.

Melissa: I love how tall and strong he is, but I never saw him as dominant before. He has always been kind and soft spoken.

What was your reaction Melissa?

Melissa: For me the way he reacted surprised me, I was wondering if he had been hiding this submissive feelings for me.

Ethan: Looking back on it now, I think being submissive has always been in me. But I never gave it any thought. Most of my life revolved around my job, so I think they may have been hidden deep inside of me.

So now 3 years later, how did the relationship evolve?

Melissa: We are fully into the lifestyle now, he isn't my slave 24/7 but it's a big part of our life. We also go to fetish events, to see new people.
8 months ago I got him his first chastity cage. Experimenting with that has been our main focus the past months.

Ethan: We also talked about cuckolding, but we haven't put that into practice.

Melissa: Ethan told me, that I could "do what I want" if I wanted it. But I don't see myself doing that any time soon, I love him too much. I don't see myself, being with another man.
I think he finds that disappointing, but he understands that.

Ethan: I do fantasize about it, and the humiliation that comes with it. But I understand that she isn't ready for it.

Melissa: For now we will evolve our Femdom relationship, and see where it goes. Even after 3 years, it still feels like we have much to discover.
