Added 2022-09-07 06:35:45 +0000 UTCUpdate: I'm home! The procedure itself went well. They said there wasn't a lot of larynx tissue, but they removed as much as they could and rounded it out. However, when I woke up, my throat started to swell up and became bruised, so the doctors wanted me to stay overnight at the hospital so they could make sure I wouldn't have breathing issues later. The swelling hasn't gotten worse so yesterday evening they sent me home. I just slept over 9 hours at home. I have a bit of pain on my throat, but that's expected. I'm gonna have to be on painkillers all day every day for a few days :) I'm incredibly happy that I've gotten through it, and that from now on I'm going to have a nice and smooth throat <3 The picture is one I took just after I woke up after surgery. My throat hadn't swelled yet haha.
