Good girl ๐ฐ๐ผโโ๏ธ
The passion of men for dressing in women's clothing has been known since ancient times: for many it is a taboo - a violation of which is so tempting, for others - just an interesting experiment, and for others - a way of self-knowledge ๐ It seems to me that almost all men at least once wore women's panties, tights or a skirt - don't be afraid, I don't judge you ๐คญ
For a long time, it was mistakenly believed that men's passion for cross-dressing is a manifestation of homosexuality or latent homosexuality. But over the past hundred years, scientists have come to the conclusion that most men who like to cross-dress are heterosexual. Their desire to dress up as a woman and be a sissy is dictated by the attraction to the female sex ๐ธ
That is, a man's passion for dressing up is not a fetishistic impulse, but is an attraction to a woman inside in addition to love for women outside ๐ฉ This passion is dictated by the desire to identify with the object of love and merge with the beloved woman! In my opinion, this is a very beautiful and sensual desire ๐ซฆ
So my dear men, please do not be shy about your desires - we all sometimes need to be weak, sweet and soft ๐

Mad Socrates ๐คช
This is exactly how Plato called Diogenes of Sinope - his opponent and one of the most famous and outrageous sages in the history of mankind! Diogenes was a people's favorite, as he was an ascetic and despised excesses, wealth and fame ๐ค Thanks to this, many legends have been preserved, but we still do not know which of them are fiction and which are reality...
Diogenes begins his journey as a counterfeiter. Having received a prediction from the Delphic Pythia that he should "re-evaluate values" - the philosopher misinterprets it and literally begins to counterfeit money. Only years later, expelled from his hometown, he will understand what his true goal is - he is destined to re-evaluate "spiritual values" โจ
In Athens, Diogenes discovers a new teaching - the Cynicism of Antisthenes. The Cynics believed that the best life was not just naturalness, but getting rid of conventions and artificialities, freedom from possession of the unnecessary and useless. Antisthenes claimed that to achieve good one should live "doglike" ๐
Diogenes was inspired by the ideas of the new teacher and began to implement them, living in a clay pithos (not a barrel, as many believe), the philosopher constantly staged outrageous performances, shocking the inhabitants of Athens!
One day, he lit a lantern and walked along the streets of the city. When asked what he was doing, the answer was: "Looking for a human" ๐ Another time, Diogenes began to give a philosophical lecture in the city square. No one listened to him. Then Diogenes began to squeal like a bird, and a hundred onlookers gathered around. "This, Athenians, is the price of your mind," Diogenes told them. โ When I told you smart things, no one paid attention to me, and when I started twittering like a mindless bird, you listen to me with your mouths open" ๐ฑ
In general, Diogenes of Sinope was a real pain in the ass for decent citizens and rulers. One time he even managed to troll Alexander the Great himself - but you can read about this yourself if you are intere
A pet in your pocket ๐ฑ
In the mid-90s, Japanese created something that made children all around the world rejoice, cry and clean up poop daily - they created Tamagotchi! ๐พ The word Tamagotchi itself consists of the Japanese word "Tamago" (egg) and an English word "watch"โ๏ธ
The concept was proposed by Akihiro Yokoi, who initially planned to create an analogue of a watch, but marketer Aki Maita slightly improved the idea and the finalised product was a virtual pet that fits in your pocket ๐ Phenomenal success, record sales and popularity around the world - that's what awaited the Bandai company and its brainchild!
It's interesting that the first Tamagotchi were aliens with a very unusual biography: The Tamagotchi's home planet got drunk due to the fault of an old man named Oyazitti (a big fan of sake) and ceased to be suitable for life ๐ถ After that, this grandpa and his relatives left it and went to look for a new one! Tamagotchi didn't succeed in this, and their ship crashed on Earth in Japan (of course haha)! Here, the aliens were found by a local professor Banzo with his assistant Mikachu who placed them in special egg-shaped capsules ๐คฏ
Of course, I had a Tamagotchi as a child, I played with it all day long and was very worried that my pet could die, and when it did die, I really cried! ๐ญ What a fantastic gameplay idea for a children's toy, right? ๐ซ
Have you had a Tamagotchi?

They know ๐๏ธ
I have an ambiguous attitude towards conspiracy theories. On one hand, they attract me and cause a passionate interest, on the other hand, there is some kind of crazy note in them that threatens to capture my entire being and plunge me into the abyss of unspeakable horror haha โโ๐ธ
Grant Morrison's "The Invisibles", Alan Moore's "Providence" or Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea's "Illuminatus" make you involuntarily think about the forces operating behind the scenes, although I must give credit to these authors who bring a huge share of humor to their works, which somewhat reduces the degree of madness ๐คช
I will not list all the crazy theories that have passed through me this year: firstly, so as not to burden you; secondly, so that the reptilians from the planet Nibiru don't shoot me with their amnesia laser ๐ฝ

Popular Culture ๐๏ธ
In addition to rather local and not always easy to read references, MTG periodically features funny cards and images that are very recognisable for most people! Personally, I love the creative design of these cards and how their mechanics and properties are connected to their visual design ๐ค
1. "Break Down the Door" - A reference to the cult film The Shining and the phrase "Here's Johnny!" ๐ช It's funny that the card can destroy the target artifact or enchantment!
2. "Grave Bramble" - A fun reference to the popular game "Plants VS Zombies" ๐งโโ๏ธ The card itself is a plant, a defender and has protection from zombies - the perfect knight in shining armor for your precious sunflowers ๐ป
3. "Homunculus Horde" - For me, this is definitely a reference to the Minions from the movie "Despicable Me" - just look at their eyes and how many of them have gathered at the gate ๐คฏ
This is definitely "Banana!" ๐
By the way, how do you think Jack Torrance would react if the Minions started serving him at the Overlook Hotel?

The All Lover ๐ฉ๏ธ
Zeus is known not only as the strongest of the Olympians and the Supreme Greek God, but also as an enviable lover and conqueror of women's hearts ๐ค
If I'm to list all his lovers and children, it would take several posts, and if in detail, then several weeks haha ๐ธ So I will tell you only a few interesting facts. It is worth starting with the fact that Hera is not the only and not the first wife of Zeus!
The first wife of Zeus was Metis, who helped Zeus return his brothers and sisters from the womb of the titan Kronos ๐คฎ However, after some time, Zeus swallowed his wife, fearing the prophecy that Metis would give birth to a child more powerful than his father! However, a child did emerge from Zeus's head and it was Athena ๐ฆ And Metis continues to exist in Zeus's head as his adviser and voice of reason.
I don't know what Metis advises the Thunderer, but it must be something worth the interest, because after that, in order to lie with the desired women (and one man - Ganymede), Zeus managed to be: a Bull, a Swan, an Eagle, a Satyr, Artemis, a Cloud, a Golden Rain and even an ant ๐คฏ

Deep love ๐ฉท
The first images of women in strapons were found in Ancient Egypt! In those distant times, pegging was considered an exquisite pleasure and only very noble people could afford it ๐ธ
Then the strapon was widely used in Ancient Greece, Rome, Japan and one way or another it is known to most human cultures!
So, like many other sexual practices, pegging is an ancient and proven partner of humanity, and there is nothing perverted about it โบ๏ธ
By the way, the term pegging itself first appeared on June 21, 2001 in Dan Savage's article "Savage Sex" and was proposed after it became clear that there was no single name for this sexual practice ๐ค
It seems to me that the most important thing is that during pegging, a man and a woman put aside their usual gender roles and get the opportunity to find out what people of the opposite sex feel during loving each other ๐ซฆ
A woman, trying on a "penis", can understand how sensitively and diligently her partner works in bed during normal sexual intercourse. The man, in turn, realizes how dependent and vulnerable his partner feels when she lets his penis in ๐ธ
Of course, such an experience makes the relationship more intimate and sensual, helping lovers become closer and understand each other โจ
Have you had any experience with pegging?

Green Sage ๐
From the moment I first saw Master Yoda on the TV screen, I realized that this old guy is definitely cool, most likely the coolest in Star Wars ๐ Such a powerful figure of a master, a teacher and a mentor - he literally fills up the entire space, while remaining the smallest and most humble point of said space ๐คฏ
His unusual manner of speaking, his mysterious phrases and instructions - all this is a cliched image of a "sage", but it works very well and you really begin to believe in flow of the Force โจ
Unprecedented luck to meet such a person in real life, touch their wisdom and learn the Path from them ๐ Unfortunately, such luxury is available only to a few, but it seems to me that even through the TV screen we can learn a lot from the legendary Master Yoda ๐ธ
And who do you consider the main master of the Star Wars universe?

A warrior's garment ๐
The ancient ancestors of the tie have been known to us since the times of Ancient China - the famous Terracotta Warriors have wide ribbons of fabric around their necks ๐๏ธ
In the 17th century, the scarves of the Croats flared up like a bright red flash ๐ญ๐ทAfter the victory over the Ottoman Empire, a regiment of Croatian soldiers arrived in Paris. Their officers wore a silk scarf around their necks, and it instantly attracted the attention of the French ๐
This trend was quickly picked up by the famous fashionista and King of England Charles II ๐ซ After that, scarves were doomed to success around Europe, and then in America!
Over the years, they have changed their appearance and shape many times, and the tie we know appeared only in 1924 thanks to the genius of American entrepreneur Jesse Langsdorf, who patented his โidealโ tie production technology - most ties today are sewn in exactly this way ๐

Koschei the Deathless ๐
There are several theories about why Leonardo DiCaprio chooses only young girlfriends and breaks up with them when they turn 25! I will not delve into all these magazine stories, but rather tell you about folklore characters and plots ๐ง
In Slavic mythology, the image of an old sorcerer who mastered secret knowledge and was able to prolong his life almost indefinitely is very popular ๐
Such sorcerers had a tendency to kidnap young women and imprison them in their gloomy castles!
One of these sorcerer liches was Koschei the Deathless, a dark hero of Slavic fairy tales who hid his death in objects long before Voldemort's horcruxes ๐
Many consider Koschei to be the Slavic equivalent of Hades and the master of the realm of the dead, some see him as a memory of an ancient and evil sorcerer, while others consider him a distorted image of a good sorcerer who found a way to prolong his life ๐งโโ๏ธBe that as it may, in a number of shamanic circles they really whisper about the practice of prolonging life with the help of the energy of young women ๐คฏ
Do you think Leonardo DiCaprio is connected with this or is he just a slightly infantile man who likes to have fun? ๐

Family of Artists ๐ฉโ๐จ๐งโ๐จ
Ekaterina and Dmitry Burmak are very talented artists who are also my compatriots ๐ธ
They create illustrations for Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons and of course MTG โจ
It's interesting that as children they didn't go to art school, and already in adulthood after meeting at the aviation university they decided to get additional art education at a pedagogical university ๐จ
They both love fantasy and a strong impetus for the start of their career as an illustrator were Warcraft, Diablo and "Conan the Barbarian" โ๏ธ I really feel them here - their style is a reference point for me, because their artistic vision is very close to mine ๐ค
Here are some of my favorite illustrations:
1. "Almighty Brushwagg" - Perhaps not the most epic, but definitely one of the funniest and memorable illustrations by Dmitry ๐
2. "Chandra, Dressed to Kill" - Stunningly beautiful art that perfectly conveys the character of one of my favorite planeswalkers - thanks to Ekaterina ๐
3. Joint illustration by Dmitry and Ekaterina for a series of literary works based on the board game "Frostgrave" โ๏ธ (I just wanted to show you their collaboration!)

The power of milk ๐ฎ
Lactose intolerance is quite common these days, although it used to be much more common! DNA analysis of the remains of Central and Eastern Europeans who died between 4000 and 1800 BC shows that lactose intolerance was not common back then ๐ค At that time, people were already breeding cattle that produced milk, but they mainly ate cottage cheese and other types of harder cheeses, which are poor in lactose ๐ง
Later, representatives of the Yamna culture and the Corded Ware culture appeared in Eurasia - they were the ones responsible for the spread of the lactose tolerance gene๐บ
Later, lactose intolerance became an important demographic advantage that allowed the Indo-European language family to spread so widely ๐
Personally, I am not a big fan of milk in its pure form, but I still drink it quite often. Although I prefer to make hot chocolate based on it โ๏ธ

Male friendship ๐ค
Much has been said about male friendship and it already has the status of some kind of legendary phenomenon, which cannot be said about female friendship, which in the mass consciousness is considered a myth haha โโ๐ธ
Indeed, men can be very loyal and devoted friends, and their joint adventures will not leave anyone indifferent ๐คช It just so happened that in my life I was more friends with men than with women! For quite a long time, I had the status of "one of the guys", because I have rather masculine interests, and I behaved like a tomboy (Hello Vi from Arcane ๐ )
Be that as it may, over time, boys begin to develop an interest in girls, and girls in boys haha โโ๐ธ
And my tomboy status slowly began to fade away, and I became a girl with tomboyish interests - also a rather privileged position ๐
And here we come to the stumbling block that usually destroys the strongest male friendships - girls ๐ธ
Although I myself have never become a reason for quarrels and breakups between people - I have seen many times how men break the strongest ties with each other in just a few days, driven by their desires, grievances and fears! Led by women ๐ป
It came out a little sad, but of course I'm joking and exaggerating a little! I wanted to get to the point that in fact both men and women can be great friends and have a genuine connection with the opposite sex - it all depends on the decisions of each individual ๐ค

Beauty in simplicity โจ
I love the village architecture in my home country: everything is so cozy, sometimes a bit awkward and naively cute, that when I look at wooden buildings my heart immediately becomes so warm!๐ฃ I am lucky to live in an ancient city, where many unique architectural monuments have been preserved! Including wooden houses and churches from the 17-18th centuries built without a single nail ๐คฏ
There is an unusual open-air museum not that far from me: it presents old wooden churches and houses that have been preserved for centuries and restored! The museum is located on a separate fenced area, so when you get there it feels like travelling back in time ๐
It is actually a very unusual feeling to be next to something ancient and at the same time not alien! These buildings feel like something good and familiar, you even want to hug them haha โโ๐ค I feel very comfortable in such places, maybe it's some kind of genetic memory encrypted in my DNA ๐งฌ
And how do you feel about ancient buildings?

Flower messages ๐ผ
The language of flowers was born in the East, and in Europe it gained popularity thanks to the wife of the British ambassador in Istanbul - Mary Walter Montagu ๐ฉโ๐ฆณ In her letters, she described the secret language "selam", also called "the language of objects and flowers" โ๏ธ
The language of flowers was especially popular in the Victorian era, it was actively used to secretly express feelings ๐คญ The French and English compiled entire dictionaries of meanings to help secret love become apparent through a flower message ๐
Here are some examples:
1. Sunflower - sublime, pure thoughts ๐ป
2. Hibiscus - rare, graceful beauty ๐บ
3. Red Rose - true love ๐น
4. Tulip - happiness, glory and pride ๐ท
5. Lotus - a long, healthy life filled with wisdom ๐ชท
Probably most flowers that humans are familiar with have a special meaning in flower language dictionaries, and a bouquet of carefully picked flowers can carry as much information and emotion as a sincerely written love poem, while also looking heavenly and gorgeous on a lady's room! This concept is just so wonderful to me ๐ฅฐ
What message would you send me? ๐

I know this place ๐ค
We're returning to the world we talked about last week. Eldraine has references not only to fairy tales and legends, but also to modern culture ๐บ
One of the most striking examples of such a reference is the series of castle lands, each of which subtly resembles something familiar:
1. "Castle Garenbrig" - Refers to the Rock of Ancestors from "The Lion King", it's unlikely that Simba has been there - as far as I know, there are no Lionesses in Eldraine ๐ธ
2. "Castle Vantress" - Is a reference to the floating city of mages Dalaran from World of Warcraft! By the way, in the latest expansion Dalaran fell from the sky and was completely destroyed ๐คฏ
3. "Castle Ardenvale" - Inspired by Minas Tirith, the main fortress and capital of the human kingdom of Gondor from "The Lord of the Rings" ๐ This castle is much luckier, because it does not have a Mordor nearby ๐
Which of these castles would you like to live in?

Bรณbr Kurwa ๐ฆซ
First we need to figure out - what these unusual words are? ๐คช This is Polish: "Bรณbr" is a beaver, "Kurwa" is a whore, and "Ja pierdole" is an expression of extreme surprise, similar to "WTF"? ๐ณ What an unusual combination!
The meme itself was born from a large number of short videos in which Poles unexpectedly meet a beaver and jokingly chase it, backing it up with a fair amount of curses ๐
Until recently, it was just a funny meme, but this summer the Polish government became seriously interested in beavers ๐ต๐ฑ This happened due to the fact that local authorities calculated how much the activities of furry builders cost them. The fact is that, according to the government, beavers are the main culprits of floods, as they destroy dams and embankments ๐งฑThe government wanted to take the most severe measures, but in the end everything ended well and it was decided to install special metal nets on new and repaired dams for protection!
"Everything will be fine, Mr. Beaver," assured Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a joking manner ๐ซก

I think I like purity talk (I just came up with this term ๐ ) - it's when partners say something tender to each other, confess their love and sincerely admire each otherโจ

A thousand steps ๐ฆถ
The mile has been known to mankind for thousands of years and was successfully used in a number of Ancient Countries to measure distances ๐
Miles were measured in steps and therefore a strong difference began to arise between its indicators. In this regard, each country had its own system. The length of the Danish mile, for example, is 7532.48 meters, and the length of its neighbor, the Swedish mile, is 10.688 meters ๐คฏ
Naturally, such differences began to create serious confusion and the transition to the metric system of measurements was inevitable, and it solved many problems! However, Britain and the United States did not want to give up their system of measures, and in 1959 they even formed an agreement, according to which the mile now had a unified length - 1609 meters ๐ค
It is interesting that the mile, as a system of measurement, originated in Ancient Rome and literally means "a thousand double steps of Roman legionnaires in full armor on the march" or "mille passus" ๐บ In โโthis regard, Britain became an heir to another Great Empire and passed on its legacy to the United States - such a winding path, thousands of historical miles long ๐

Temporary patterns ๐ฆ
When I was little, temporary tattoos were very popular, which the guys and I would stick on our hands to look cool ๐ Sometimes we didnโt even wash for several days to preserve these drawings ๐คช As a rule, these wonderful pictures were found in cheap chewing gum and candies! We came to kindergarten all covered in tattoos and the coolest was the one with the most unusual and numerous tattoos ๐ค
And the history of transfer tattoos itself begins much earlier in the 18th century, when a French man Simon Francois Raven invented Decal ๐ง Decal was a rather complex method and was initially used for furniture and interior items! But by the end of the 19th century, due to the development of production technologies, transfer images became so popular that a real decalcomania emerged ๐คฏ Pictures were transferred to almost all household items!!!
However, temporary tattoos gained their familiar appearance only in the 1980s - that's when their fun journey began among children, teenagers and adults who liked to add something bright and unusual to their image, but are not ready or cannot get a tattoo ๐ธ

The Power of Dreaming ๐
I often have extraordinary dreams, and I remember them quite clearly ๐งโโ๏ธ In them, I travel to distant worlds inhabited by wonderful creatures!
Often I am just an observer of strange events, but sometimes the inhabitants of these worlds communicate with me and tell me unusual things ๐คฏ
Sometimes I save entire worlds, and sometimes I unwittingly become a witness to their fall ๐ Many of my dreams have a very coherent timeline and are quite realistic, so I tend to wonder if all that happening within a dream is not just a game of my imagination, but something more real ๐ตโ๐ซ
Many Shamans believed that dreams are our experiences in other worlds, and when we fall asleep we travel ๐ณ And Edgar Allan Poe wrote: "All that we see or seem. Is but a dream within a dreamยปโฆ

Like in a Fairy Tale ๐งโโ๏ธ
We are going on a new journey through the MTG universe, this time we will find ourselves in the fairy-tale world of Eldraine, where old legends and familiar stories from childhood take on a new form! The world of Eldraine is based on the Arthurian legends, German and English fairy tales, so this world is very dark and dangerous ๐ฆ
"Emry, Lurker of the Loch" is a reference to the "Lady of the Lake" from the Arthurian legends - it was she who gave Arthur the magic sword "Excalibur" ๐ก Many people mistakenly believe that Arthur took "Excalibur" out of the stone, but this is not true - Arthur took another sword out of the stone, which most likely bore the name "Clarent" ๐ชจ
"Blow Your House Down" is the from the famous children's fable "Three Little Pigs", in which a wolf blows away the flimsy buildings of the piglets with his powerful breath, and only one of the pig brothers - hardworking and persistent, manages to build a strong enough house to hold back the onslaught of the wolf ๐ท
"Totentanz, Swarm Piper" - The Pied Piper of Hamelin is a rather creepy legend, because it is recorded in the chronicles along with other ordinary events and even has an exact date of June 26, 1284 ๐ The local authorities refused to pay the Pied Piper who saved the city from rats, and he took all the children over four years old with him from the city, more than a hundred people disappeared without a trace in a day ๐คฏ
It is interesting that the card is called "Totentanz", which in German means "Dance of Death" - a popular medieval story telling about the frailty of human existence ๐
Where do you think the children from the city of Hamelin disappeared and what is behind this legend?

Friendship is Magic ๐ด
I love this cartoon series for its cool characters, funny stories and great songs โจ I started watching it as a child while learning English, and it was one of the first works that I watched in the original language ๐ฌ๐ง
I liked Rainbow Dash the most because she was strong, cool and spectacular - she had a beautiful mane and she could fly ๐ฆ Haha I guess I wanted to be like her ๐ธ
But when I got older, I realized that I liked Fluttershy the most because she turned out to be the kindest, smartest, calmest and most adequate out of the main six ponies ๐ธ

There and Back Again ๐
Oh, I've loved this fairy tale since childhood, my mother read it to me many times before bed and I myself reread it many times later, although now I've forgotten some moments ๐ Still, Peter Jackson's films leave their mark and the details of the book and the film adaptation get confused in the mind!
I don't think Professor Tolkien himself knew what his passion for legends and the scientific work of a philologist would turn into โ๏ธ He himself says that the idea to write "The Hobbit" did not even occur to him: one day, while checking exam papers, he wrote on a blank sheet of paper "In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit" ๐งโ๐พ
And then everything spun by itself and, caught by an unknown force, he created a fairy tale from which a whole new world was born โฐ๏ธ
In many ways, the world of Middle-earth is similar to ours and is inspired by the folklore of the peoples of the North: Scandinavian, Celtic and Old English mythologies ๐ค
Many names, plots and general atmosphere are taken from these cultures, so in many ways the universe of Middle-earth is the ideological heir and continuer of these cultures ๐บ This is probably why everyone in the north loves this universe so much haha ๐ธ
