This week...oh this week... I was scheduled to have my motorcycle skills test on Tuesday. I was very much looking forward to being able to spend longer days at the studio, vs this turning into a pumpkin at sundown thing. Tuesday.. I woke up at 6:30 am so I would have enough time to enjoy some coffee and get in about 30 minutes of warm-up figure 8 practice before heading to the DMV. Roll out the driveway at 8am. On my way to the gas station, I notice she is not feeling the same and smell something burning. Roll up to a pump, look down and see oil just pooling around the kickstand. After filling it back up with oil, pretty sure I left over a quart on the ground. Rescheduled my test and hobbled her home as quickly as possible. So as of Tuesday I was vehicle-less until I could pick up my BMW yesterday (which I also have to swing back on Monday). So apologies for the gap in posts this week, and that is why. I didn't think this was a thing, but riding is incredibly addicting. I have been commuting and practicing non stop for 3 weeks and now I feel like my day is missing something.. energy is out of whack. Fucking can't wait to get her back!

Man, I get all excited about hair compliments on the street again. I went down to Chinatown with my buddy Guy tonight (we were supposed to shoot and got distracted with catching up , so he should be back Thursday) and a girl did to me what I keep telling myself I should start doing, random appreciative compliment walk by "Omg your hair is awesome, holy shit your piercings are dope too!" So not cat calls (those are fucking terrible), but more compliments with out expectations need to be given especially between women. We need more positive energy rolling around... one of my thoughts during quarantine.
