I'm taking a break.
While I still plan to jump on once in a while,
I can't make this a priority at the moment. Seems it's time for another life change, and I really need to focus on myself and my goals.
What's new?
- Things haven't been going well with my partner for a while. We officially split Jan 20th. In short, I felt more like an undesired trophy that wasn't worth polishing. I'm currently keeping my eyes open for another place to call home, hopefully close to my little paint shop.
- Cuki is as to be expected. She'll be 15yrs old on the 15th. Her vision is mostly gone. And hearing. She's slowing down, sleeping more and stiff. Her age has caught up. I just hope she lives long enough for us to find peace. This has been affecting her too. She had her first vet check yesterday since he last chemo.. things are looking good.
- Trying so hard to get caught up on my bills. Lost a ton with Cukis chemo. (I'd do it again, if it meant more time with her)
- I'm trying my hardest to stay positive, and I've been making a ton of progress in my little paint booth. Which is giving me something to look forward to.

I'm planning to go through my images.
One of my valued followers inquired about a signed canvas art print for their home! I'm looking into options now, and would love to make something like this more available!
I just got home from working at the paint shop, and plan to use my evening (amongst tornado watch alerts) to sort through and edit some of my photos I've taken myself.
Is there anyone else who may be intrigued by this purchase?

I have to say... the restrictions on social media really kills my mood and motivation to continue. I post a SAFE and fully covered (not even censored!!) pic on FB, and it instantly flags it...
The problem... I have about 10 paid subs on this page, and a couple who are in a position and willing to tip the minimum on the free page..
On the rare occasion I post to FB or IG, I need to be REALLY safe about how I do it, otherwise, I get flagged (as I did just now over a perfectly safe image).
What does that mean?
I can't promote anything. People won't see me, and they won't see my art to support me.
Again, what does that mean?
I don't make anything for my work or efforts.
It's putting a HUGE damper on my motivation and ability to be able to make this a side gig, and it's sadly turning it more into a side-stress / hastle. It's not worth the fight with META to try to figure out how to tease the algorithms to consider my art "safe".
I'm often conflicted about what I'm allowed to post. Does that affect my art here? no, not really, majority of what I post here is allowed, not really, but when it affects being able to reach new people and get new subscribers to make posting worth... well, posting, I need to invest my time in what can help put food on my table.
In the immediate future, I'll be trying to think of what's best for my art. I can't do this full time. I can't do this part-time even. If you choose to invest in someone else, I won't blame you one bit. I still very much love and HIGHLY appreciate all the love and immense support you've all given me.
I'm contemplating keeping my free account just that. free. images that I'd normally post to FB/IG. You invest in me, I'll invest in you.
The VIP page - While I may not post as often. It's be more quality and uncensored work. You have all invested in me so much love and support. I LOVE to share my work, and you all show me, constantly, that you are here for me, and what I love to do. I say it all the time that I appreciate your support, and that couldn't be more true. I can't do this without you.

I am normally shaved, but I've been wanting to do something with "bush". So for over a month, I let myself grow! When I felt I had enough hair to get the look I wanted, I contacted my photographer, who is always so eager to jump on a shoot with me!

Normally around this time, I am very big on saying "Happy Holidays".
Why?
Because I understand this world is huge, and I'm not the only one on it!
It's called being a decent person. There are about 14 religious holidays from around "thanksgiving" to "New Year". I'll never understand (nor do I care to) those who fight others and ONLY say "Merry Christmas" refusing to acknowledge that there is more to this world than just them.
I was raised Christian. I was raised in a home that serves and helps others. I'm not going to discredit what someone else believes just because it doesn't match my own beliefs. What others believe is just as real and valid.
As for me, I celebrate Christmas with the rest of my family. So on Christmas, today, I say "Merry Christmas".

Out driving.
I see a dog nervously running along a street. Not too busy, but a fast street.
I roll my window down, and make a call. She hesitates but seems interested. So I get out and open my car door. Many dogs love car rides!
Anyone who knows dogs... knows a nervous running dog isn't always likely to stop for a random human.
Yeah, not this girl.
She runs over happily! Goes to jump in the car and hesitates. Looks in my car. Looks at me. Wriggles with joy next to me for cuddles.
Cool.
Love on this girl for a bit, lead her by her collar (which thankfully had her name and info!) And got her safely up into my car.
Kisses, wriggles, happiness, more kisses, sniffs, bouncing from front and back seat!!! She was so happy!!!!!
I pulled over to a parking lot. Tried calling her humans.
No answer.
Sent a message, "Sos. Hi there, I have a beautiful overly-sweet pup with me, can you please call me back."

Have a lot to do today. From house tasks, to a couple errands, then at 3:00, Cuki has her 13th Chemotherapy session. She's doing really well, considering! Still happy to be around and loves life! Yay sweet Cuki!
With being off work, and trying to start my own paint shop, it's a little tough this month, but I'm doing the best I can.
However, GREAT news for all of you, I have a small studio space opening up to me in the next couple weeks. My plan is to build it up into my own photo office studio area, and be able to make more content a little easier. Here's hoping!
Anyway, the final grouping from this awesome photo set is posted!! I hope you love all of these as much as I do, this was one of my favorite sets with this photographer!
