♡Hey Gorgeous♡ It's been awhile since I've touched base with you and I miss you! I'm finally clear from covid but the after affects are still with me (slight cough and fatigue). Being sick sucks, and over the past three months I have had three different viruses.. influenza A, a sinus infection and covid. I haven't had so many viruses in a short time span in a long time. And it's been really challenging. I would get better, get momentum, start streaming, editing, doing content and then I would get sick and it put me out for two weeks at a time. Doing online stuff lately has been a challenge. Especially since I love streaming and I want to be doing it more. Now that, thats out of the way I want to talk about how wonderful my day was yesterday. You may not know but I want to get into acting and this has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. I finally stopped putting myself in the way and I sourced a reputable agency! I booked a meeting with them last week (which went great) and yesterday I also had a 'mock screen test' to gauge my skill set. I had to learn a monologue for this - which of course I did last minute... the day before... I think that worked in my favour..? Before my screen test at the agency I was on a photography set for a web series that's filming its first episode this month. The character that I was cast for got cut out last minute which sucked but they still wanted me for promo work. So I did a photoshoot for them. I had to be up at 6.30am to get on set early to work magic and then go to my screen test. Both of these went so damn well! The director wants me to do a small cameo in a scene as she really wants me in the first episode (which really meant a lot to me) and I am now officially signed with the agency to help find me acting and modelling work. I worked really hard to make these things happen and I'm just patting myself on the back as I'm really proud of myself. I never think I'm ever good enough, skinny enough, or pretty enough which I'm in therapy for (which is seriously helping). So for me to do this is a big thing. I think it's important to celebrate our victories big and small as there's enough negativity in the world we don't need to add more to it. I want to take you on this journey with me and I really hope you enjoy reading these updates. ♡HAPPY FRIDAY!♡ After a few days of being Mkitty burrito in bed I'm alive! Travelling from Brisbane to Melbourne and back is exhausting! I went to PAX on Saturday and Sunday (its a huge gaming convention) and I can't even begin to describe how much fun I had and how refreshed I feel. I have really been feeling down with my streaming lately as I'm not where I used to be 2 years ago (you can thank a social life and shit internet for that one). Due to that I just feel like a lot of my community has moved on to other streamers and having to build it back up with low quality video due to not being able to stream at 1080p has been frustrating. Meeting some of my community over the weekend really helped me feel a lot more inspired to stream and my brain is like, 'Wow! People do actually care and enjoy my content'. Apart from catching up with my streamer friends and close friends from Adelaide seeing fans was my highlight. So thank you! My favourite panel was 'The Dark Room' show run by Robbotron (on Twitch) I was a player and got to go up on stage it was hilarious! I had the Worlds longest rock, paper, scissors battle. It's now the new esport. I won a yellow plastic cricket bat for my participation haha. I must say I ate a lot of pizza from the crown casino food court haha. And I picked up a cute magical girl my melody plush and a couple of small sailor moon things to add to my gamer room! I need to go squish my My Melody now!
