Today is an easy 4 miles, and then hill repeats in the evening. Fall is a good time to build strength and an aerobic base with lots of miles and hills. It's also cross country racing season which is my first love. Cross country racing is on open country with grass or dirt and natural or artificial obstacles, hills, mud, sharp turns, and all kinds of weather.
