One of my favorite costumes from the weekend! 💕 With this look I represented a growing flower. I was able to move extremely controlled and elegant and really captured a lot of my ballet technique and carriage of my arms while performing in this look 💗

Right now I’m relaxing and taking time for myself before a four day dance event I will be a MainStage dancer at! Rest and refreshing is always important before exerting my body like I will be this weekend dancing as hard as I can! ❤️

It’s Monday! Have you set an intention for the week? Mine is to balance the hustle and rest! Dancing all week along with appearing in a music video, doing a photoshoot and walking in a fashion runway show means my body is going to be constantly on the go. While I couldn’t be more excited about it, I need to prioritize resting along with working hard so I don’t get burnt out 💚

I am in love with this contemporary ballet sequence I learned. Did you know ballet is more than just the traditional graceful movements and techniques that are typically advertised when thinking of a ballerina? As I have said before ballet is the foundation for all other forms of dance but “contemporary ballet” is becoming its own genre and style itself! Meshing in extreme technical movements with power and expression in contemporary, this style is becoming very popular as it captivated an audience tremendously 🦋💜 What do you think of meshing contemporary and ballet together?
