Called MCat (Massive Cat) as when I first saw him, I thought he was just a massive cat 🐱 This morning it’s a studying while watching Lord of the Rings: Return of the King day - and trying to decide if I would be a Hobbit or an elf. I lack the grace of an elf; but I don’t think my feet quality for Hobbit’s, either! 🤔 too short to be an ent and too lazy to be an orc 👹 obviously this is all more important than uni work! I think being one of the woodland critters outside of Radagast’s hideaway would be chill 🐀

Yo check out my super cool balance 😎 This is my favourite “bit” of the unfinished workshop at the moment but only while I haven’t been greedy the previous day and drank all the dolce gusto espresso when working and forgotten to replace them 💔🙃 (actually, has anyone tried those refillable Nescafé machine pod things before? Do they work?). Today I’m finishing an L shaped larch shelf to go above the fish tank, but because I spent SO long meticulously making sure it is a 90degree L shape; double-checking everything before cutting and glueing etc... naturally, all my efforts mean it is more like 75degrees at best 🤣 what on earth! I have serious impairment for measuring things?! All those inches makes a girl lose her sensibilities ey 🤭

I can’t think why you would care for this but I’m showing you anyway... 😂 I’m sending out this Dark Souls Estus lamp today; it’s the last I have of the little battery packs. I’d love to make more but haven’t conquered an idea for easy lamp-replacement if I made them with a proper plug and bulb 🤔 I wondered about just a hole and a spring-lamp holder like what’s underneath salt lamps, maybe? But drilling through glass is tough enough work at just 1cm diameter without needing to make it wide enough for that?! 😅 Very much open to suggestions! Hahaha!

It’s getting absolutely roasting in here now the weather is getting better! 🥵 habitually I’m still turning on the heater as soon as I get in though, and it’s boiling hot! I’m not tinkering for too long in here as I’m waiting inpatients for a very cute lingerie set to arrive 🤭 I am one excitement notch away from sitting in the bedroom bay window like a dog and barking at any promising signs of a postman 👅 PS- Thankyou so much for the lovely messages from feeling yucky for a few days after that jab!
