this song is called “all too well” by taylor swift. 🎶
it’s from her fourth debut album RED which is a personal favorite of mine. this song holds a lot of meaning to me because it’s not originally done on piano— but when i was 13, i saw her live on tour and she performed it with the piano. it was one of my favorite memories from that time in my life. ❤️
i ended up doing a one take on this— i often find myself recording a million different times and getting frustrated with songs and never posting them (which is partially why a vocal cover has been long overdue lol). but i really hope you enjoy !! also with special appearance at the beginning from zeppelin the cat.
anyways happy wednesday, and i hope you enjoy this piece. i promise there won’t be as long of a gap between this and my next musical cover !!

accompanied on piano and vocalized. there are millions of different versions of this song! however this one is the Jeff Buckley version; i chose that one because it’s the first version i had ever heard.
overall a beautiful piece of music and every musical rendition of it (that i’ve heard has been lovely).
p.s i got my piano tuned this week! can you tell a difference?! honestly i didn’t think that it needed tuning so badly, but in person there is such a drastic change in the tone. and the notes seem to beam even more so. 🎹

reminiscing on days prior to covid when i was in my ~element~ at edm music festivals. 🤩🤩
these are some of my favorite lewks from different concerts/fests i have gone to! 🦖💖
edm is one of my absolute favorite genres of music! my favorite djs are; subtronics, excision, zeds dead, rez, & slander. ⚡️
the last (semi) concert i was at was a drive-in... but it was still absolutely amazing to hear nghtmre live !! just being in the atmosphere again brought me so much joy.
i’m waiting until the day when i can safely head-bang again!!!! but until then i’ll be masked up & raving from my car. 😷

here is a classical piano arrangement called “Intermezzo” composed by Manuel Ponce. it was used as transitional music in France in between opera scenes ! i love all the different dynamics this piece incorporates.

For my first post I wanted to play you one of my absolute favorite piano pieces. “The Entertainer” composed by Scott Joplin in 1902. 🎹
The 1900’s was a HUGE historical shifting period for music evolution. Composers— such as Joplin created a new style called “ragtime” meaning, rhythm characterized by strong syncopation in the melody with a regularly accented accompaniment in stride-piano. What a way to kick off the roaring 20s! 💃
Anyways heres my version of the entertainer... original version and then a super speed tempo!
