Last night I went to a Sam's Burger Joint at the Pearl in San Antonio. It was delish! Their fried mushrooms and fried pickles were by far the best things I've had in Texas this whole trip. So yummy! And I had to have a Shiner Bock while in TX.

Well after over an hour waiting on fuel, they made us deplan..

Well after over an hour waiting on fuel, they made us deplane and our new flight time is TBD. So far I've been at the airport for 4 hours and I haven't eaten yet today. Due to the Christmas holiday, most of the little restaurants are not open near me so I may need to go walk the half mile to find a Starbucks or news store for food. Haha I know this is only a slight inconvenience, so I'm trying to stay positive but it's easier to smile when my belly isn't growling and I don't have to trek across the terminal for food 😂😩😜

300lbs to 435lbs ☺️ This pic of the left was just a few years ago, playing piano and sampling wine at a vineyard in Texas hill country. I asked permission to play their old piano and they said I could try, but several keys were out of tune. I avoided those keys and played something beautiful I made up on the spot (blending several songs together). Before I could even finish my song, the owner came over with 2 bottles of wine for me and my friends if I would play a while longer for all the guests! Haha I was more than happy to oblige. 🎹🎶
