FORMAL ATTIRE (BUT MAKE IT FASHION)
I feel like almost every guy you see at a formal event will be wearing a plain, monotone, 2-piece suit. It’s hard to find a cool outfit that’s still formal enough to replace a traditional suit. I love textured blazers, I think that always adds a unique touch to a suit. I also never wear a tie or dress pants. I either do a button down or tee under a blazer and then black jeans on bottom (but jeans that are solid colored and don’t really look like denim).
This particular outfit looks like I’m wearing a tie but it’s actually just the print on the shirt that sort of looks like a tie when it’s buttoned up all the way.

EDGY AND AFFORDABLE BLAZERS!
These are my two favorite suit jackets, and they were both under $50!
The black satin jacket is by a brand called INC (International Concepts) from Macy’s. It was on sale for only $15!! I added the Dior brooch to give it a little more pizazz since it’s a plain jacket.
I got the burgundy jacket with the gold chain detail on Amazon, but there’s no label on it and I don’t remember what brand it is 😞 But I do know it was from a Korean brand and only cost $45!

LOUIS VUITTON X NBA: MONOGRAM JEANS
I honestly don’t fully understand the concept, but Louis Vuitton did a small collaboration line with the NBA this past season. How does a sports league helps a high fashion designer create a clothing line? No clue. The jeans are cool, though. The only thing that bothers me about them is that, where the LV logo would normally be on back, there is a huge NBA logo instead.
This is one of my favorite outfits ❤️ Its all about the little details for me. I love how the clothing and jewelry is all monochromatic so it doesn’t look busy, even though literally every part of the outfit has a different texture to it.

I’ve been seeing this shirt on Instagram for months now but never bought it because I thought it looked uncomfortable, but then I impulsively bought it one day. And I was right! It’s very uncomfortable, but I do like how it looks on me so I’m going to keep wearing it. As I always say, fashion is pain.
Even though I liked this outfit for myself, it wasn’t well-received by other people 😂 a few people asked me if I was going scuba diving and a couple just said “what on earth are you wearing”…. But I think I looked good so ~whatever~

Closet Haul: BELTS!
I have a thing for belts. I love wearing a simple all black outfit with a nice belt as the statement piece. I don’t usually like big logos and think they’re tacky, but there’s something I like about the flash of the logos on designer belt buckles. I think it looks chic, as long as the rest of your outfit is simple and logo-less.

FENDI- LEATHER TRIM BIKER VEST
I found this vintage Fendi piece on my favorite consignment website, Grailed. I love the look of leather vests but they’re too warm to wear in a restaurant or club. What’s great about this one is that it’s lightweight, so I can comfortably wear it indoors.

I’ve been seeing ads for this one on Instagram for a long time but I thought it was just a little too expensive for what it is, but it went on sale a couple week ago so I bought it 😇 This is a men’s size small and it’s VERY fitted on me, it’s a little restricting but the fabric stretches so it’s not too uncomfortable.

TAKE FIVE ATHLETIC APPAREL 🏃♂️
It’s hard to find compression pants that really fit skin-tight against my legs the way they’re intended to be. Take Five is a good brand for those of us with skinny legs that usually leave a little extra room in the thighs/calves even when wearing pants that are supposed to fit nice and tight.
These white compression pants were definitely a LOT tighter than I expected, which means they were also a LOT more revealing than I expected 😂 (hence the cropped photo)… but you can message me if you wanna see the full images from this shoot anyway 😇😇

I got these comfy vintage Versace pants from a seller on Grailed. I’m always looking for lightweight pants for summer (because I hate the way I look in shorts) and these are super super lightweight. Even though they’re nylon they have sort of a silky texture so they’re really soft. I also like how they look like trendy hazmat pants, definitely a vibe for COVID times!

I’ve recently been seeing some gay fashion influencers who I follow (like Cooper Coyle and Josh Harrison) wearing men’s bodysuits. It’s definitely an eccentric style, but I liked how it looked on those guys, so I got one for myself. Not sure how I feel about it... what do you think? Yes or no to this look?

VERSACE: FINE JEWELRY VS. FASHION JEWELRY
The key to my heart: gold Versace jewelry 💛💛 What’s really great about their jewelry is that it’s really not that expensive because it’s all “fashion jewelry” which is wayyy cheaper! Don’t be mistaken— fashion jewelry does NOT mean it’s fake! It means that it’s COATED with gold, not made of solid gold (usually the base is stainless steel). Almost all jewelry made by even the most high-end fashion designers is made of stainless steel coated with gold. Very few designers make both fine and fashion jewelry.
So what makes something fine jewelry and not fashion jewelry? To be considered “fine jewelry” the entire piece has to be made of solid gold or platinum. For example, Cartier does not make ANY jewelry made of anything but solid gold, platinum, or diamonds. Even the silver-colored jewelry is actually made of solid white gold.

I bought this jacket at the Versace outlet store at Sawgrass Mills (an outlet mall in Florida that I’ve mentioned before). I’m not really a windbreaker person, but I decided to get this one because it caught my eye right away, plus it was 50% off of the original price!!

EMBROIDERED PATCHES: Customizing Your Clothes!
This idea was inspired by Dolce&Gabbana. I love their simple garments that have one detailed embroidery on them. The downside is that everything is over $1,000 and the only thing that makes each piece really stand out is the single embroidered patch.
I decided to start buying patches from different individual sellers on Etsy and attaching them to less expensive clothing from other brands. It creates a similar look without having to spend thousands of dollars on a few little details (swipe to see the comparison!)
These jeans were $50 from TOPMAN and the patch was $7 from a seller on Etsy. I attached the link below to the Etsy store I got this specific patch from, but there are tons of options if you search for specific patches. To find this one I searched “cherub embroidered patch” and then picked my favorite one.
