MESH SHIRTS!
Different Cuts & How To Style Them!
When it comes to mesh shirts, I wear three different kinds of cuts that I wear under specific types of layering pieces— long sleeve crew neck (which I wear under vests), short sleeve crew neck (to wear under light jackets), and short sleeve wide neck (to wear under open button down shirts). Side note: make sure you wear underwear with a solid black waistband, because it will always start show at some point and it’s super noticeable with a logo-clad waistband.
All of these mesh shirts are from a super cheap Chinese website called IU Buzz. The quality of their stuff isn’t very good for the most part, but the mesh shirts actually look just as nice as the more expensive ones... so I literally only use the site for mesh shirts.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN- BLUE SPLICED HARNESS SHIRT
Got dressed up to go to dinner with @arianabeauty (my sexy friend in the cheetah dress) at a new restaurant in Miami! I wore my new shirt that I got from the Alexander McQueen boutique in the design district earlier that day! Their new men’s collection for this season features shirts that look like they have built-in harnesses, and I LOVE it! Once I save up some more money, I definitely want to buy another from this collection! This one (and more like it) are available online on the AQ website! Dropped the link at the bottom of this post ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Outfit Details:
Necklace- refurbished Prada (custom made on Grailed.com)
Top- Alexander McQueen blue spliced harness shirt
Belt- Louis Vuitton patent leather belt with matte black logo buckle
Black Pants- Frame calfskin leather skinny pants

VERSACE- MEDUSA STUD LEATHER BELT
#PurchaseOfTheDay
Some people love shoes. Some people love bags.... I love belts ❤️ I’m obsessed with the details on this one— how each stud is engraved with the signature Versace medusa face. Swipe to see how I styled it for a night out ✨
I bought this one from the Versace boutique in Chicago, but it is carried by most Versace stores and is available online as well (link attached below ⬇️)

Weather Is ❄️, Outfit Is 🔥
#OOTD
It’s freezing outside and I’m not going anywhere fancy, so sweater and sweats it is!! Unfortunately none of the items I’m wearing are available for purchase anymore since they’re from past seasons, but check out the brands to find similar pieces from this season!
Outfit Details:
Jacket- Slate & Stone leather and shearling jacket
Top- Helmut Lang pullover sweatshirt
Pants- Hologram City black sweatpants with metal ring detail
Shoes- Christian Louboutin suede high tops
GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI- RED SNAKESKIN LEATHER BELT
#PurchaseOfTheDay
Giuseppe is definitely known for their shoes more than anything, but I saw this belt when I was walking by the store and had one of those “I need to buy that RIGHT NOW or else my world will crumble to the ground” moments.
It looks perfectly fitted on me because they actually cut their belts in the store so that there isn’t any excess leather hanging off the side!
The snakeskin leather belt is available to purchase online in white (link attached below), but the red color is limited edition and only sold in a few of their boutiques... and I got the last one in their Miami store 😊

DIOR SLEEVELESS BUTTON-DOWN SHIRT
#PurchaseOfTheDay
Sooo I’ve been shopping like CRAZY the last couple weeks... I basically spent every dollar I made last month 😭 But at least I’ll have lots of “Purchase Of The Day” posts for you!
I got this shirt by Dior online from a website called Yoox. If you haven’t shopped on there before, I highly suggest it! They have all of the best sales on high-end designer clothing. It’s the cheapest prices you’ll find this stuff sold by the designers (as opposed to buying them from consignment stores).
Because they have such good sales, the merchandise sells out fast and they have a limited range of sizes. This shirt is now sold out (I got the last one 😍) but you should definitely look for other deals on their site! They also have an iphone app, which I suggest downloading if you wanna use Yoox more frequently.
On my last trip, I talked about the trend of men wearing swim trunks riding low on the hips with the waistband of their underwear showing. For this weekend, I brought a different set of trunks and underwear to follow this trend. Stay tuned to see the next way I’ll style it!
Outfit Details:
Swimsuit- Topman
Underwear- Calvin Klein
Sunglasses- Gucci
Hat- Fckable
ALEXANDER MCQUEEN SKULL PRINT SCARF
#PurchaseOfTheDay
Alexander McQueen represents the same style that I try to emulate myself. I call it “goth chic”— black, studs, chains, leather, skulls, etc. Basically taking themes that would be very gothic and interpreting them into chic fashionable looks.
Red is pretty much the only color you’ll see me wearing. My entire closet is black and red. I love this scarf because the fabric is super light, so I can wear it indoors without getting too hot. The red makes it a good way to add a splash of color to a monotone outfit. And since it’s very patterned, it definitely has to be a statement piece (not something you wear with a bunch of other patterns and color).
YSL MONOGRAM LEATHER BRACELET (IN PATENT LEATHER AND SILVER)
#PurchaseOfTheDay
I like wearing flashy jewelry these days, even when I’m in sloppy clothes (sweats and diamonds are such a vibe). Leather jewelry is definitely on the more casual side, but I wanted something different from all the other jewelry I’ve gotten in the last couple years. I had liked the monogram leather bracelets from YSL for a long time, and then I recently saw they started making them in patent leather too! I think the patent leather makes it look a lot more unique and also less grungy.
Currently for sale at YSL boutiques and department stores for $325
Lazy Day (But Make It Fashion)
Streetwear is great for lazy fashion-conscious people because now you can find an outfit that’s basically as comfy as wearing pajamas and still look edgy. I recently decided I’m into oversized cutoffs right now. I got one Playboy cutoff online and it inspired me lol so then I cut the sleeves off of my OnlyFans Merch hoodie. The shoulders are a little wider than I’d like them to be but I’m too nervous to cut past the shoulder hem... Thoughts?

Hat- Amazon
Sweatshirt- OnlyFans Merch (but I cut the sleeves off)

TREND: PANTS AS A STATEMENT PIECE
Even though I usually wear all black, I’ll occasionally add a splash of color/pattern to an otherwise black outfit. Recently I’ve been trying to add more eccentric pants to my wardrobe because I think a black top is always the most flattering, and I’m trying to SLIGHTLY move away from my “edgy gay funeral” aesthetic (as I like to call it). Tomorrow I’ll be posting a closet haul featuring all of my leather pants! Stay tuned.

BEDAZZLED PANTS (BUT MAKE IT FASHION):
Eccentric Clothing From Lesser-Known Designers
The idea of bedazzled pants sounds gross and tacky, but these pants make it WORK! I got these from a website called Trill Mrkt which features tons of unique streetwear designers that most of us would not have heard of. It’s relatively expensive, but I think it’s worth it to have edgy clothes that you won’t see anyone else wearing. But if you’re only trying to spend money on designer clothing with big logos that everyone will recognize, this isn’t the website for you. (Link attached below)
The brand that makes these pants is called Eye Crave. Their collections are definitely eccentric, even a little too “out there” for me. But they do have some really cool statement pieces that are a slightly toned down from their other merchandise. Their website only features a handful of items, so I’d suggest looking at Trill Mrkt if you like this style!

DIOR B23 HIGH-TOP SNEAKERS
#PurchaseOfTheDay
I’ve been looking at these shoes for a while but was hesitant to buy them because I feel like they’re a little too grunge for my style, but my friends convinced me to finally buy them and I’m really glad they did because I actually do like them now!
I bought them at Neiman Markus but they also sell them at Saks Fifth Avenue. They are NOT sold in most Dior stores because Dior boutiques usually do not carry men’s clothing.
Fun dinner, fun friends, fun fits... We didn’t come for the fancy food, we just wanted a reason to dress up 😇😜

Top- PHIX satin long sleeve button down shirt in green snakeskin

PRADA- refurbished choker necklace
#purchaseoftheday
Usually I only wear longer chains, but I saw this choker necklace on Grailed and I had to get it. It’s a metal Prada logo taken off of an old handbag and attached to a stainless steel chain. Since the piece is not actually made by Prada, it was being sold for only $120. Unfortunately the seller only made this one. But you can find similar ones on Grailed, Etsy, and DePop if you search “refurbished Prada chain necklace”.
Check my next post to see how I styled it for my night out!
I’ve had this jacket for years now but I still love it. It’s such a unique statement piece and I can dress it up or down. I can wear it out to the club with skinny jeans and a nice belt or I can wear it to with sweats to McDonalds! Eccentric yet versatile. I got it online from a store called American Stitch! This specific jacket is no longer for sale but if you like the style, check out their new merchandise! (Link attached below)

MANIERE DE VOIR- A Mini Shopping Haul...

CUSTOM CHAINS!
I love having custom chains made by different jewelry designers online and in person! I don’t spend more than $50 on each one because I like to buy multiple (and I tend to lose them since I don’t keep them locked away with my nicer jewelry).
They’re fun to have and it’s always good to support boutique jewelers. My favorite and most recent creation is my OnlyFans chain! It was made by one of my friends who has a dope Etsy shop (link attached below) and Instagram page (@protostarshop) where she makes custom, high quality chains at a really affordable price!

JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER - The End Of An Era :(
A little background: if you haven’t heard of Jean-Paul Gaultier, he is one of the OG couture designers and the one you can thank for integrating the corset into modern fashion (if you pay close attention, almost all of your most flattering outfits have a subtle corset design to them). He was the creative designer for Hermes for a long time in addition to having his own line under his name.
In my opinion, Gaultier is the #1 most important designer in men’s fashion because he was really the one who first started designing men’s clothing to be more fitted and flattering as opposed to being shapeless and boxy.
This is the only shirt I have from him right now, but you can see how the design brings the waist in (sort of like a corset) using the silk lining on the sides. It’s also structured and cropped at the waist so that you don’t have to tuck it in in order for it to hold a tight/slim shape when you move around in it. His clothes are definitely made specifically for men with a slim figure ((humble brag)).
Gaultier officially retired this year, marking 2020 as the end of his career (which is pretty understandable at the age of 68). If you want to buy anything from him now, you have to hit the resale stores. Luckily, since he’s not one of the more “mainstream” designers, there isn’t a ton of fake Jean-Paul Gaultier merchandise being produced, so you can usually trust what you find.
TREND WATCH: Swim Trunks With Underwear Waistband Showing
A lot of people really hate this trend. I pretty much only hear negative feedback when I see it on other people. BUT I think there are ways to make it work. You usually see this with Calvin Klein but I also see it with Tommy Hilfiger and Dolce and Gabbana underwear.
I chose the Calvin Klein underwear because I love how the color goes with the swim trunks. I chose the Daddy underwear because.... come on... it says “DADDY”. How could you not wanna show that to everyone?
So overall... do you think I can pull it off?

DOLCE AND GABBANA- Limited Edition Studded Sleeveless Tee With Zipper Detail
#purchaseoftheday
I’d like to start by saying I am VERY happy with this purchase and I don’t care if nobody else likes it. Sometimes you gotta go with your gut and wear what makes you happy even if you don’t get the approval of others.
I got this shirt from the Dolce and Gabbana store in the Design District of Miami. I was walking through an art exhibit with my friends and the little museum was next door to all of my favorite designer boutiques. I couldn’t focus on the exhibit knowing I was sacrificing shopping time, so I left after a few minutes to go shop on my own. Worth it.
The price was a little absurd even to me (almost $800 for a tank top) but I think I can justify buying it because it’s from one of my favorite designers, it was limited edition (they were only selling three of them tots), handmade (which is very rare for something that is for sale in-store), and... I was on vacation.
My friend took this video of me walking into the food court to join them all when I finally finished shopping. I was very proud explaining it. They all hated it, as you can tell from their commentary, but I love it so I could care less ❤️
⚫️✨VERSACE✨⚫️ — Too Flashy For Fashion?
I used to be totally opposed to buying anything Versace. Most of their stuff is still too gaudy for me... however, sometimes I can find ways to tone down the flashiness of the products I like and make them wearable for me!
This dog tag necklace was originally on a much thicker chain. So I took the pendants off, sold the gold chain on Facebook Marketplace, and put that money toward buying a much thinner gold chain. Now it looks a little classier.
I’m also not usually one to spend money on designer underwear, but I actually love Versace underwear and think it’s worth the price. I wish it was socially acceptable to walk around in just underwear and jewelry, because personally I think this second look is actually kinda dope. Unlock the photos and tell me what you think!

#purchaseoftheday
Another purchase from the RealReal! This is probably the best deal I’ve gotten on there. It was a crazy discount for a used ring with barely any signs of wear!
After I bought this ring on the left (see second slide) I wanted another ring for my other hand to go with it, but I wasn’t about to spend that much money on another David Yurman piece. I lucked out and found this one on the RealReal that matches so beautifully with the one I bought from the Yurman store!
My favorite thing about David Yurman is that all of their jewelry matches, even if the designs are totally different, because they have such a distinct and unique style!
