Despite anti-tourism protests, I am still visiting Spain. It helps me feel better than I’m staying in hotels and not Airbnbs. One of the things the locals are mostly upset about are the Airbnbs/short-term rentals making it unaffordable for them to live in their own cities. I also plan on speaking Spanish the whole time. 🩷🙏✨

Ever since I fell off that pole, I’ve been so terrified to continue my practice. However, I still can’t completely stay away from it.

Election Day—I was hesitant to vote because the extra overnight votes from 2020 made me feel like our system is rigged and I’d be wasting my time. However, idealistic me always wastes her time and vote on a third party candidate. 😅 I chose to practice my optimism by voting. It is our civic duty after all.

Medical procedure I’m still recovering from—I’m finally sharing because I must go on with my life. It was a traumatic experience. Bedside and awake… 🥺 Also, it is no my karma—it is life—and this year has been humbling indeed.

And also added music because I was on the phone with Seester. We were both invited to her friend’s birthday party, and the theme was to dress in your favorite Hollywood decade. I picked a vintage spaghetti strap low back slip dress situation to reminisce the 90s. 🖤

I tried on this other dress first just to see if I wanted to get rid of it. I don’t like it the way it is now, but I think it would look really cute as a mini dress—it has Beetlejuice potential!

The first trenchcoat I tried is disqualified and formally in the giveaway pile due to peeling of the vegan leather. In defense of the jacket makers, I’ve had that jacket since 2013 I think… it lasted pretty long!
