I've been spending so much time out in the sun and swimming this summer, and my skin has been screaming for some luscious moisturizing. Believe it or not, I can be pretty bad at being consistent with these simple acts of self-care. As you've probably seen, I typically spend my time acknowledging other aspects of self-care that effect my mental, emotional, and overall internal physical health. I've never been a horribly externally conscious or physically-oriented person and have always had very minimalistic "beauty" routines compared to my friends or what I see on social media. I just don't care enough about what I look like to have a 10 step hair and skin morning and night routine lol (no hate at all to the ones that do though🙏).
I guess in this sense, I've been considered a hippie by others throughout my life, so it feels luxurious to focus on something like applying lotion lol sounds silly, but it's da truthhhh.
