Snapping out of it..
You’re aware that your routine sucks, you’re not accomplishing your lifestyle goals ant the moment and you’re not proud of yourself or routine. What to do now?? You know you need to set an alarm, go to the gym and get back to where you once were?
If you keep failing at getting back on track, here’s what I do to snap the fu-*k out of it. It isn’t an easy magic fix, but it is a pathway to get back, if you follow it:
1. Set an alarm way earlier than necessary. I set my alarm for 530am and aim to be on the road running or holding pads for the fighters at 630am.
2. No phones or technology upon waking. I believe you wake up in stages, you’ve just had a reset and your brain is clear and calm, don’t flood it with a brainwashing bright screen. NO PHONES
3. This is where you start feeling good. Journaling, meditation or Breathwork. Journaling for me works, I write 3 things that I did yesterday that were positive and showed growth. I also wrote 3 things that I want to work on today. Follow this with a glass of water and a few healthy supplements.
4. E book as a warm up then run/ exercise.
5. Nutrition, meal plan. Have a meal plan and fuel what you’ve just done for the day. Everything else now will fall into place since you’ve started the day early and already followed a morning routine! Good luck!
