Sex workers or therapists?
“Kate, what’s wrong with me?” Claudie, a 28-year-old girl from Romania, told me. “In recent weeks, most people want to pay me just to talk. They don’t want to have sex; they just want to talk with me about their troubles, wives, kids, feelings, and depression. I am not a therapist. You wanna fuck me? Here I am. But if you want to discuss your trauma caused by your parents, go see Dr. House, not me.”
I replied, “Claudie, are you aware that you might be the best-paid therapist in Western Europe, even without a single semester in psychology?”
Claudie said, “Hm, that might be true. But if you want a new haircut, would you visit your dentist?”
Well, that was a funny answer :)) But for real, a lot of our clients don’t actually seek sex; they are looking for a soul mate. They wanna talk, they want to be heard without being judged ...On the other hand, talking to working women about problems might be much more costly than seeing an actual therapist. 😊
