Added a coconut log with java fern to the center and an anubias plant suctioned to the upper right. The fish have all been schooling and shoaling more frequently with all the new plants! A planted tank is a happy tank <3 I took the video and pics during feeding time to get them all centralized. A random cleavage pic sits among the fish pics 😽😽

Turns out this guy was among my ghost shrimp purchase from 2 months ago. He is not a ghost shrimp, he is darker and bigger and has killed all but 2 of my ghost shrimp, as well as at least 2 juvi panda corydoras :C I've removed him from the tank, but sadly will not get reimbursed by Petco for the killings, as it's past their 30 day policy. RIP my little ones.

Over the last few days I've had a sudden algae bloom. It has decided to grow since my shrimp and snails have rid the surfaces of brown and beard algae. So now I have a 9w uv sterilizer just plugged in today to deal with the bloom. These are current pics of the tank, I'll be sure to update when results occur from the uv sterilizer. Also, tiddies (on the vip post) <3

Update on my 55 gal tank; I added 3 more albino corydora and the ghost shrimp are getting much bigger! Also I now have 10 snails, all of which came from the single tagalong snail that snuck in with my plants. I have 3 more ghost shrimp and 3 more Juli (spotted) corydora waiting in the 10 gallon quarantine tank to join the community <3

Rearranged my 55 gallon tank and added some ghost shrimp to the mix! The frogbit has been flourishing and I've got a handful of baby snails that snuck in from a plant addition!

Finally got the new light system in along with some frogbit to float the surface! The light has an automatic day/night cycle to help the plants grow healthier :) Any freshwater aquarium owners know of other ways to promote healthy plants? Mine turn yellow, thin/transparent, then die. I feed them twice a week with flourish, flourish excel, and flourish iron.

Spent 20 minutes outside trying to help scrub and spray my neighbors siding (with bug spray on) and had to come inside early because I was Still getting bombarded. Took a shower before the pics cause outdoors work is Dirtehhh lol. Guess I'll have to try again tomorrow while the sun's still up xD

I got some new plants and more baby ember tetras (up from 5 to a whopping 13!!) for my 55 gallon tank <3 the bamboo, vines, and ring are the new plants <3 I also added in some clear half circle glass rocks to help hold down the vines :3

Two hours left and then im free for labor day weekend!! Debating on whether or not the 1.5 hour drive is worth it to go to the river this Saturday before the weather cools off. For the Horde! Almost done with my overnight shift at work. I heard the news that OF is undoing their ban on explicit content! This brings up a dilemma, as some OF creators have gone on to other sites such as Fansly because of concerns over OF's flip flop policies. What do you guys think? Will OF go back on their word in the future or can we trust them to continue using their site?
