So recently I had this idea to book a hotel room just to shoot some new content for inst/tt, I just needed a change of scenery. I packed all my outfits, lights, cameras, the whole setup.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

On the site, there were two options: hourly booking (minimum 3 hours) or a full night. The price difference was pretty big, so I figured I’d just book 4 hours, should be enough for a few reels.

I paid, showed up... and turns out I had accidentally booked a room from the same hotel chain, but in a different city 🙃

They gave me a discount and I eventually got my room, but in the end I paid more for those 4 hours than the full night would’ve cost 🤪

I’ve noticed that I only allow myself to unwind when I’ve reached my absolute limit with tasks... only then do I let myself breathe. But this past month, I’ve been pushing myself to take breaks more often, whether it’s a simple coffee walk or putting away all my devices to just enjoy some quiet.
