So many often ask how to use yoga positions for sex. Truth be told yoga was not designed for sex. However we can spice up our love lives with some positions. It is a great question I think and there are some poses that can be used in the bedroom.
Puppy Pose the pose I am showing here in the picture for example.
How to use it during sex: This can be a great position for fingering the receiving partner’s vagina while touching their clit at the same time.
Modifications: Wrap a sex strap around the receiving partner’s hips to get more leverage.
Three cheers for another chest opener! The love kid of Downward Dog and Chíld’s Pose, this hamstring-stretching, pec-loosening move can be used to prep your bod for a rumble in the hay. Or, the receiving partner can get into this position to make penetration (*Kanye voice*) stronger, better, faster, deeper.

As Valentines approach it made me think. Ive never celebrated but love love and my mum and dad married on this day. They often forget their anniversary too. So it really made me think what keeps life and relationships alive and fun.
Life and Sex loses its power and magic when it becomes explićit, mechänical and over the top or a root of obsession. It becomes monotonous or a bore. The source of life’s power and sexual power is one and the same. Curiosity and passion.
We need curiosity to play in life with each moment and the people we are around. This creates passion, spark and elevates the experience, decreasing boredom. These are the life moments and sexual experiences you always remember.
In life play starts with a meal we once savor through the sensual unfold of lingering tastes and smells it produces, to a meal we once taste to a meal we just cook. Sex is much the same a person we once savor and crave for their smell, touch and taste to a person we share relations to, to a person we connect with to fill a human need with.
We can only maintain magic in our lives and relationships if we remain curious.

The truth is I do not have an easy answer.

I do not have time but I have the same 24hrs in a day as you. I stand up at 5am so I can make time. You do not have to train as long as me, you can simply do a 10-30 mins session.

The reason we start training is to become flexible or strong or something more than we are. When I started I could not do handstands, could not do splits and many other poses. However, nearly 11 years later yes I can. It takes time but it is worth it.
I am tired. I feel you. However, I am tired if I train and I am tired if I do not. At least this way when I train I achieve some goals and I also build more fitness in my body to be more capable in my everyday life.
So remember the only thing stopping you is you. No one has it easy. But do you choose your excuses or regrets?
Combining a warm bath with self massage can work wonders for consistently sore muscles, especially relieving pain in the back. Often people are reluctant to hop into a warm bath when their pain is bad, thinking that the raised temperature will aggravate the inflammation, when really it is often one of the best cures.
Instead of just heating up the surface area where the pain is, a warm bath will provide heat deep inside the entire muscle. Place a tennis ball underneath your back in the bath, the combined pressure of your body weight and the water will naturally roll the ball around, creating a gentle massage sensation.

Your mind is a storyteller that interprets reality.
When you were born, your mind was almost a blank slate. It uploaded all the stories around you.
As you aged, you started developing a kinesthetic version of yourself. As you develop we had songs that helped us to learn ourselves. Like do the Hokey Pokey and turn around...
However, somewhere along the way we lose ourselves in all these stories and many of us by the age of 20 or 30 feel lost in the system or the prison of our own minds.
The hardest thing about failing or our life not being good enough is realising it is our own limiting beliefs that cause us to struggle, not the world's fault.
So many of us grow to live a monotonous life and create justifications, identifications, blame everyone but ourselves, tie our self worth in stigmas and untruths and expect the world to or another to give us what we need.
But no amount of this amounts to anything. Trust me I know. When I was at my darkest point (I write about this in my book). I did just that. I ended up attempting on my life. Lucky I failed but it woke me up. It was a turning point.
It made me see it was painful to live like this and it was painful to relearn, change, grow and reprogram. However the second option gave me possibilities and better tomorrows. The first option left me lost, anxious and depressed and I no longer wanted to be that.
I am not writing this to blame society or share how bad it is. I am just writing this to remind you, you have options but you have to be the option and choose you.
The truth is to every goal and change in life the reason so many of us do not achieve is because we are looking for things that do not exists:
This is not a quick fix.
There is no handout
You are your hero.
This is a lifestyle.
This is your life's work:
To see what you are capable of. But only you can do your life's work.
Choose this 2024 to write stories of empowerment and possibilities, not blame and justifications.
Next time you feel like you are failing or bored, don't quit, pivot. Pursue another challenge that utilizes the skills you've acquired.
For example if you get bored of your workouts, try a new one. If you get bored of your diet, learn to cook something new.
When you feel your mental deposition is not balanced, make a more clear step and small goals between what overwhelms you and where you want to be so you dont get lost in that feeling.
This 2024 deconstruct your stories and understand the stories of your mind that are running your life. Create a story that serves you rather than hinders you.

If we want to ‘heal’ our triggers, trauma, unhealthy teachings and fears, we have to see we are not our fear. It may be a part of us but it is not us. However we also have to let go of the concept that something from the outside is inducing fear inside of us that we have to avoid or battle against. Our fear is something that wants to be heard and nourished, not ignored or shamed.
Looking at ourselves in a negative way is learned. All the words I say about myself that are not positive were first said by someone else to me or I heard on the grapevine. We all are impacted from the beginning of our lives by external factors to bring sudden awareness of ourselves and our society labeled flaws.
We end up in this process losing the sense of our own awesomeness that we naturally bring into this world as a kid. We so often look at kids in awe as they are joyous, happy and in the moment, they dance and play and sing and cry until, at a certain yôung age, it stops because they (we) are made to feel it no longer has space to belong. That is when we first learn that we are only loved under conditions.

Groin Rehab Exercises
Complete 3-4 times a week for 4 weeks.
Chronic groin pain can literally be a pain in the butt. The groin area is home to a multitude of different muscles, tendons, ligaments, and most importantly your private areas! Therefore, many times it’s hard to pinpoint the exact area of pain, and thus when it comes to groin rehab, we oftentimes take the approach of strengthening everything and building tissue resiliency of all the muscles in that region. You can never go wrong with a strong and bulletproof groin complex. Much like the sacroiliac joint which relies on all the muscles surrounding it to provide stability, a concept known as force closure, we treat the groin region similarly. The adductors, hamstrings, hip flexors, glutes, and most importantly the lower abdominals must all work in unison to provide stability to the groin complex.
These are some exercises to get you started some foundation work. Remember it’s an ongoing process and we all heal differently. It’s your journey, listen to your body.
Most groin strains are treated conservatively. The amount of time that a groin injury needs to fully recover depends on the severity of the strain. For example a grade I minor strain could fully resolve within a couple of weeks, whereas a more severe Grade II may take up to two months. It is important to receive a proper diagnosis from a trained healthcare professional to ensure you have an understanding of the prognosis and a timeline for recovery.
