took a longer-than-intended sabbatical this semester, but the term is over, summer's here, and your alpha is doing better than ever. i've got exciting plans this summer, signing onto a job out in PA, leaving here around memorial day.

Hey everyone,
I don't normally get all personal or soppy on here, but some explaining from my end is needed.
Let me start this by thanking each of you for your continuous support by sticking with me these past few months. I'll go into a brief breakdown but know that your kindness and encouragement have been enveloping me. This is by no means a contingency post, just a long overdue check-in.
Semester #5 kicked my ass, to put it lightly... I've realized a few long-standing habits I've adopted, battled some illnesses only the college petri dish can serve, and have now experienced the effects of bad choices from academic administration.
These habits I've recognized aren't horrible or potentially life-debilitating, rather habits that surround ethic, organization, practically just adulting skills in general...
As for the structure of academia slowly chipping away? To easily compare, think of a snowball that's just grown monstrously, now overshadowing you. While specific details can't be thrown around, my university has been continuously proving to the (specifically arts/education/literary) students that our voices don't matter unless our wallets our louder.
Thus, the mindset right now (for academia) is "get that paper and run".
All of this has left me a bit disjointed- discombobulated if you will. From October until around Thanksgiving, my mental health was very fogged over. I hadn't set up my camera for months until a few hours ago, my confidence has been a bit shattered.
So, the future is nonetheless coming, and growth is on the horizon. Again, I thank each of you for sticking with me and sending kind messages (I'm gonna get to them I promise!), and Master Gray will be back as quickly as you pups get off to me ;)

i gotta apologize for my lack of posting here the past month, just as classes started, so did rehearsals for a project that I was organizing. can share that project was very successful, and the rest of my fall semester here has relaxed (a bit) now.
nevertheless, i haven't stopped snapping and videoing as much as i can (just unintentionally killed the communication), expect the regular schedule ;)
