Taking a moment to be super vulnerable about my skin. Recently I’ve been struggling with some breakouts. Various things can cause breakouts. Stress, certain skin care or acne treatments, dehydration, diet, lack of sleep, contact with the skin, and smoking are all common causes. Today I treated myself to a chemical peel. A chemical peel is solution applied to the face to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells. The aim is to improve the appearance of the skin – for example, by reducing age spots and evening out skin tone. There are 3 types of peels, called superficial, medium and deep. Always remember your skin is your largest organ so take care of it🥰

Let’s dissect this makeup look! Concealer: Nars Creamy Concealer in shade ‘custard’. I apply under my eyes, chin, forehead and any problem areas. I will blend in my concealer using a damp beauty blender or small flat top brush. Bronzer: Chanel Les Beiges in shade ‘Medium’. This bronzer has been my new favorite!! I apply it to my cheekbones, jawline and forehead. My favorite way to apply this product is with a flat top kabuki brush. Blush: Rare Beauty Blush in shade ‘Hope’. I use 2 small dots to the high points of my cheeks. I typically use my fingertips to blend this out because the heat of your fingers actually makes the blending easier. Setting Powder: Patrick Star One Size Beauty loose powder in shade ‘translucent’. I only apply setting powder to areas that may crease. (Under eye area, around the nose, chin) Brow Gel: Benefit 24 Hour Brow in shade ‘clear’. I lightly comb this through my brows to hold them in place all day. This is my favorite go to summer look that makes you look fresh and put together. 🍒💕 Let me know what other looks you want to dissect🤠

Cleansing: The process usually begins with the technician cleansing your eyelashes to remove any traces of makeup, oil, or debris. This ensures that the lifting solution can adhere properly to the lashes. 2. Application of silicone pads or shields: Silicone pads or shields are used to protect your eyelid skin and help shape the eyelashes. They come in different sizes and shapes to accommodate various lash lengths and eye shapes. 3. Lifting solution: Once the silicone pads are in place, a lifting solution (a gentle perming agent) is applied to your natural lashes. This solution softens the lash structure, allowing the technician to reshape and curl them. 4. Guess who?! I’m back & better 🕺🏼 I have been ROUGH on my skin these past couple weeks. Between sun, makeup, sweat, this skin needs some TLC🫣 I have been treating my skin to my go to face mask. The Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleanser Mask! This mask works to remove impurities from your skin without over drying. All you need is a thing layer over the whole face. I leave this mask on for about 20-25 minutes until it’s fully dried down and then I use a warm wash cloth to gently remove the product. 🛁 PRO TIP: you can put a small amount of mask on any problem areas, or pimples you want to focus on up to 4x a week.

Hi Friends!🍒 I just wanted to drop in to share one of my new obsessions! I recently tried an eyelash lift and tint, and an eye brow tint. I have always loved a natural eye, and this process will give you exactly that. An eyelash lift uses the same technique and a hair perm. It gives your lashes a beautiful lift and curl to make them look longer and fuller. The eyelash tint can be added to this service as well to make your eyelashes darker (this gives the illusion of a mascara appearance). This will work deep into your pores to remove and excess product that may be still present. Pro Tip: use a warm wash cloth to gently wipe away the scrub to give an even smoother and glowy look! 🧼🛀🏼

The power of concealer 🌟 On the left side of my face I applied concealer in the inner and outer corner of my eye and under my nose. Using a light concealer will brighter up any areas you may be feeling dull or dark. I personally use a shade lighter than I normally would to keep it bright. Pro Tip: blend out your concealer with your fingers because the heat of your hands will warm up the product and allow it to blend easier 💐💖

Skin appreciation post! 🥰 As much as I love makeup, taking breaks from it is actually really good for your face and skin health. As someone who previously struggled with acne I was always trying to cover up all the “imperfections” but now I know I was just making it worse.
