Weekly check-in. Do some light stretches and movement after rolling out of bed. I have a full set daily movement routine to check-in with my body. It starts from head to toe. It can take 5min or 20min depending on how detailed I want to get. I will be sending the short version to everyone this weekend! It’s a great practice to settle into you body and become more connective and aware.

Well it’s another #flexfriday! I’m hungover and dehydrated. But I made good food choices yesterday. So other then over doing it on the carbs with 64oz of IPA’s my calories where still pretty good. Number one rule to weight loss you must be in a calorie deficit, no if, ands, or buts!

A clean gym is a happy gym! I probably clean up my gym space at least once a day. it makes it feel more open and easier to move around in. Plus o do a lot of stuff on the floor and having a puppy that sheds and rolls around all over it to. So it feels nice to not be covered in dog hair lol!

Alrighty here we go... Squat Warm-UP: In this video we are doing a Kettlbell Halo( Plate/Dumbbell acceptable), with a Prying Goblet Squat. It will target the T-spine, hips, and ankles. All area’s that many many people tend to have struggles in while squatting. • As you see above you can substitute a Plate or Dumbbell with this movement if available. • To start us breath in deep brace your spine/core and perform a halo. Next drop down into as deep as a squat as you can. Weight in heels, sitting back, big open heart, chest up.
 • In your squat drive your elbows on the inside of the knees, PRY your hips open. Be sure to keep toes connected to the ground. Hold this for 5 seconds. • After your 5 second hold PRYING, keep hips open and shift your knee over your toes moving from side to side. Do this for 4-8 reps. • Lastly center up, and stand back to your upright position. Halo to the other direction. Recommended reps 5-8 full reps. Enjoy- Coach Quinn

Relaxed Vs. Flexed 👇🏻 Hiya Bare Team! Today we will discuss posture and confidence! As you you can see - the photos show two very different sides of me. Both photos were taken just seconds apart. 📸 On the Left - relaxed muscles, saggy core and shoulders, leaning away from the camera. You can see a hint of shyness and being uncomfortable. On the Right - shoulders are back, neck and spine long, core is engaged. I’m leaning towards the camera and even smiling! These are two huge differences in attitude, energy, and confidence and all I did was adjust my posture and smile 😊. Being Comfortable in your own skin isn’t just about six packs and biceps 💪. It’s about accepting who you are right now and making changes for better health not just aesthetics.

Hey Fam, sorry I’m behind on the “Resistance Band” tutorials this week. I still owe you a “During” & “Cool Down”. It’s been a crazy week and not such a good one. Witch brings me to this post. Smudging & Setting Intentions- I start off by setting up my altar with white sage, white sand, a shell bowl, candle, a small burn bowl, pencil and a small paper. Pretty much everything you see here. After smudging my altar and tools i write a single word on my paper. This word can be a feeling you want to let go or even an intention you want to release into the cosmos. After speaking my intention out loud I light it and burn it. Then I smudge myself 5x with deep breathing. Follow the video for the little deets. I started this practice this week to help me with negativity and to increase my cognition for a better state of mind and well being. Not all fitness is about lifting heavy shit. Sometimes it’s the little things where you see the lost progress in.
