I started a non profit food program so the fighters and trainers can have access to affordable food. Some of the fighters eat for free on rotation if they help out in the kitchen after training. The program is small and steady as we failed the first month with over spending and waste on produce which hit my bank hard that month. We gave it another go next month with a better structure and it is working out, we are going on about 3/4 months now.

We have teamed up with our friends at Sneakreaper Industries who help support the program financially to provide equipment and an allowance each month for food. Eventually we will grow the program so all the trainers and fighters eat for free. 🙏

Our new partnership with Tulum Jungle Gym! We have installed a vintage boxing ring inside their premises for private training. Super cool location!
Here is some Raw padwork with one of the fighters Marcel Neibur.

Face off for the WBC Nai Khanomtom title! Proud to fight for this belt and opportunity.

I’ve done a lot more mindset work this fight camp on the mental side of fighting with controlling the minds wandering thoughts.(good or bad)

As the fight gets closer and closer, especially on the day. There are too many alternative outcomes we think of which takes up a huge mental toll on energy and focus. I don’t have any room for thought outside of my statements I say to myself about the fight camp.

“I have trained to my best ability this camp”
“I have the skill set to beat my opponent”
“I am enough, I am more than enough”

That’s all I need to hear and repeat to myself if I found my mind would drift away from being in the present moment.

I only concentrate on my schedule for the day and would slowly build my “trigger” before the event, this consisted off

1.My refuel and reload nutritional plan after the weight cut. When and what food to eat for optimal performance.

2. Rest and meditation

3. Stretch

4. Going to the event early so I can see the arena of where I will perform/ fight. It’s important as It has played apart in my previous visualization for performance and mindset (next post)

5. Socialize, do hands, rest at venue and wait to do the warm up routine.

6. Perform my warmup routine for the performance ( next post)

7. Go and perform/ fight

I’ve had my head down these last few weeks, training hard and focusing on the gym and the fight show. I haven’t announced I’m fighting yet. I’m dropping down to 72kg for the first time ever since I couldn’t get an opponent. I feel good, it’s way easier than expected and I’m still eating as much as I can just more healthy and a little food hacks. 3 weeks to go till I fight.. august 19 tune in @rumbleinthejunglemexico

Having his first Fight, improvement has changed so much since Niko first arrived 2 months ago. It’s like a time chamber training x2 a day. It’s hard on the body and a lot of information but with the right intensity, rest, focus the rewards are dramatic improvement in a short time being in a thai camp

Extended a few days for our ticket back out of Canada. We have been flown up by Muay Thai World Cup in Canada to have one of our students compete. Brooke and I took advantage to make a holiday out of it and spend some time together. Has been really nice 😊 appreciate the fight life and the opportunities that it creates for us

Another successful fight show in the books! @rumbleinthejunglemexico 🎉

We had 16 @tulummuaythaimexico fighters compete from our gym including my wife. Stressful is an understatement managing the show and details with the nervous feeling of Brooke competing and preparing her to fight.

It is all worth it seeing the magic unfold and watching my fighters compete, win and lose it
Super proud of everyone. Love my team to bits and the path we are all on together 🙏
